Subcon was supposed to be "Subcon world 1" lol. All of Subcon is the entire game <_<
Defining First world as the first Major World in the game beyond the basic tutorial. Not counting games like Yoshi's Island as thats more Yoshi then Super Mario. Some games break worlds into stages like the 2D games, 3D land and 3D world and Galaxy 2(though you need 3 visits for many of the galaxies) Others kinda blend it a bit like Galaxy which has different "worlds" each with multiple galaxies. However a full size galaxy is equivalent to a full size world from 64 or 2D mario so I count a single galaxy as a world for this poll. If CE disagree we can redo the poll with the whole first section of the observatory being counted. And then games like Odyssey, Sunshine and 64 have multiple big worlds not split into individual smaller stages Finally Bowser's Fury is open world. While it does have stages in a way ultimately it doesn't make much sense to break it down in such a way. NSMB games were left out of the main options because they have 4 very similar opening worlds, are generally less well regarded here then other 2D mario games and having a fuckload of unnamed world 1 in the polls would be annoying. --- I post clips of my cool, stupid and glitchy MH Sunbreak and Tears of the Kingdom gameplay here just for fun. https://youtube.com/user/linkachu1000 ... Its always the worst world of any 2D Mario game. Bob-Omb Battlefield is iconic though. It was a lot of peoples introduction to 3d gaming, and the music is awesome.
