Imagine my surprise when I played Pokemon Gold a couple years back for a few hours. Turned it off and then on again a couple days later and my save was no where to be seen

I remember using the dupe trick in Crystal with boxing a mon, and one time I guess I didn't do it at the right millisecond, because it caused my player switch from a boy to a red-palette girl (IIRC, the boy was red and the girl was blue) and then upon saving and quitting, my player became a normal blue girl. >_>
