I mean, in a culture where people either think you are terrible or a saint at any point in time, I'm not going to do that and say MrBeast is awful, but I do think the guy has a problem with the truth at times.

I mean, this is the same guy that we all called out for lying about the submarine incident. He's going to say/do whatever puts him at the center of attention.

And for a guy as young as him, who has this much fame, and has always been starved for attention since before he was big, I feel like it's not that inconceivable. Again, don't think he's a bad person by any means, and this is far from "cancellable" anyways, but still.

So, yeah, I absolutely believe he probably edited the order to be more exciting and get more views, but that's a reality TV/video/whatever staple, and I can't imagine caring about it for even a second.

Its not shitty.

When you sign up for these kinda competitions, Youtuber ran or otherwise, you consent to being portrayed however.

Dating shows change the chronological order of events happening.

Challenge based shows like Survivor or The Amazing Race will change who lasts longer in a challenge or make a leg of the race seem closer than it was.

Its called entertainment and unless youre new, its how it works.
