Im watching Magnum PI and damn there are hot women everywhere, and most of them are just extras

A take so hot, the heat blindsided me when I took it out of the oven.

It's silly to make a carte blanche comment about an entire era like that, there were obviously hotties.

What *is* noticeable is how much less people worked out back then. Something about the last 10 years has really popularised lifting weights, so people were much less muscle thicc back in the 90s.

Hell even the men. Remember Angel from Buffy? This was what was considered a muscular hot guy back then:

Nowadays that would be the skinny DYEL character on any tv show.

People worked out in the 80s. There was a big movement for women doing aerobics back then

Apparently Dacre Montgomery deliberately toned down his workout routine to play Billy on Stranger Things because it wouldn't make sense for an 80's teen to have a shredded six-pack; he also said he felt very self-conscious and 'chubby' with his new look.

So next time you're watching Billy strut around shirtless in Stranger Things, keep in mind that this is what the actor thinks the 'chubby' version of himself looks like.

The person saying this is likely a young teen boy that has largely only experienced awakening with contemporary styles and girls their own age, which is fine - they haven't matured enough to see the deeper beauty and sexual allure of a woman that transcends superficial style standards.

They'll grow out of it, I did when I got to high school.

Every single straight woman I will see or pass by on the street today would look at that pic and find that actor highly attractive.

The person may have said people (both men and women) werent hot before 1990, I forget

Right now on social media there is this hyper sensitivity to physical attractiveness and fitness - which goes beyond healthy and into harmful obsession.

Partly it's the music industry giving up completely on organic talent to promote a sort of real life vocaloid model, the nature of zoom and social media being a visual communication platform, the red pill and pick up artist grift-o-verse, and probably some trends I missed.

That guy didn't see movies/shows from the 70s.

Chicks were really hot in that era.
