More poverty, low education rates, voter suppression, bias crimes, etc.

Do you think generally the issue is with people being racist or because the governments and states have an agenda?

No. Wealth inequality is.

Wealth inequality feeds into systemic racism anyways.

Well, I think School Shootings is a start.

It's hard to upstage all the other issues, but that one does.
Kids should never even have to think about that sort of thing in school.

School shootings is a big issue in America, but I dont think its as big as systematic racism since it involves people also being killed in higher numbers.

Yeah, I mean, a ton of shootings in this country have happened over anti-semitism and hatred of black people too. There is an epidemic of hatred and despair in this country, and I think wealth inequality is what has been feeding the most into it. People who feel positive about their lives and feel like they have a bright future where they are going places don't commit shootings and aren't as susceptible to shit like neo-nazi propaganda.

Currently, we've known that there is and has been Rasime in America.
That doesn't make it okay at all, and yes, I am going back to the fact The States set out to genocide The Native Americans in The West.

But this recent arrival of such acts is truly jarring.

Either way: I am not arguing.
Yes, we live in a sick society.
It could be fixed, we just choose not to.

No, capitalism is. Systemic racism is a spawn of capitalism, and capitalist systems are how racism is leveraged most often anyway.

That said, this discussion is pointless since they're heavily interlinked and arguing about what is oppressing people the most only distracts from fighting that oppression.

Kind of. It's more that the country was built on the notion of an underclass, which was slavery back then. That seeped into the way the country functioned as well as its laws. Most of the crappy laws we have now are sourced back to racism and/or slavery.

Instead of slavery, we now just have race-biased hurdles keeping people in lower classes.

Wealth inequality, capitalism, systemic racism - To me, they're all kinda intertwined. People would rather siphon wealth from others so that their lives are artificially better through isolation (think suburbia), instead of actually better with a safer, happier society.

I use to think systemic racism wasn't the biggest problem, and that's coming from someone who is black. Over the past decade I have seen white conservative Republicans actively make their own lives miserable just to spite anyone who wasn't white.

This is becoming exceptionally dangerous because shifting demographics means the majority of Americans participating in society will be non-white. Systemic racism goes from inconveniencing and isolating a minority to preventing the nation from functioning properly due to having a majority untrained workforce.
