I had a really good time playing it then I beat it and it was like okay and? Nothing felt resolved, because nothing is resolved yet. Smaller stuff like Remake Aerith's Unique ability is now a part of her basic combo, and it does her fairy ATB move, too - Some materia like deadly dodge and parry, is now a part of everyone's moveset - Everyone can perfect guard like Yuffie does in Intermission - Cloud and Tifa have attacks that send them straight into the air. After that I like Stranger of Paradise over 16 with 15 in last place. I'd be okay with it if you register no damage on any enemy, it refunds like half the amount you expended, because sometimes you'll go for Braver and just miss or Cloud won't execute immediately and the delay is enough for the enemy to move. It could also be remedied by (certain) abilities only being able to be procced within a certain distance of the enemy so you're guaranteed to at least be within range.
