Kraven tells her "Let's see if you can leave Volgograd unscathed" and then a gunshot goes off and the call abruptly ends, she is deceased unless they pull a "she survived" scenario, which seems unlikely given how ruthless Kraven is portrayed to be.

He is in the comics too, however considering the nature of their relationship in this game I don't see it happening

They tried to kill each other. Kraven by hunting him, and Chameleon by trapping the room/apartment with poison

And that's exactly what's going to happen, because (major Spider-Man 2 spoilers!) The game sets up a lot of villains that Miles isn't going to be able to handle alone. Green Goblin, the return of Doc Ock, the Chameleon, Ana (Raven's daughter) as the new Kraven, and worst of all, Carnage. Peter wants to stop being Spider-Man, but the onslaught of villains isn't going to let him rest for long.

Although they may be able to delay Peter's return for a while if a certain scene means that we'll be seeing Silk (another Spider-Man) in this universe too.

Yeah, if they stick with that exclusively as more like Pete trying but failing to be normal for a time, that is fine. But permanently giving up the mantle? He'd never do that. Ever.

Interesting. Good find.

I do have a feeling that Insomniac is gonna introduce Gwen and make her Ghost Spider in this universe. I don't think they'll kill her and I don't know why else they'd save her for so long.

But I also think Green Goblin is gonna kill off a main character. Don't think it's gonna be Gwen, MJ or Miles. Probably will be Harry.

They should make a spider-universe with a bunch of playable spiders

I kid. Miles Morales is cool honestly.

Peter needs to be the focus of Spider-Man 3 considering the plot appears to be revolving around him and his relationship with Norman and Otto.

Ditto for any DLC or side game that will deal with following up on The Flame or Carnage. Miles has nothing to do with that storyline

I have nothing against Miles except the Insomniac version of him is kinda boring.

If Gwen hasn't met Peter yet than, for sure they are saving her for the future. Whether it's normal civilian Gwen or Spider-Gwen, she is probably going to show up

Also, 3 doesn't need to end things. I'll never understand why people think everything has to be a trilogy

Oh wow yeah, I completely missed that. I know she takes over the mantle in the comics, so I assumed that's where they were going with that

And yeah I don't think Chameleon will take on the Kraven mantle, but at the very least it sounded like he planned on attacking Spider-Man after Spider-Man was the one to trigger the trap intended for Kraven. So he'll be a future villain. Maybe not the main one, but we'll definitely see him again.

It does seem like they might be going in that direction since they introduced Cindy at the end (and didn't even show her face lol). So we've got Peter, Miles and Silk in the same universe and possibly Gwen out there somewhere too.

Doesn't have to be the comics. Pete is shown to be exactly the same, he still follows the mantra 'with great power, comes great responsibility'. He has great power, to throw it all away is going directly against that. To Pete, that SHOULD be the same as spitting on Ben's grave. And May's, now that I think about it, since she was saying he should have balance yet here he is...focusing on one singular aspect of his life over balancing it out.

Pete developed the wing suit, he has the spider arms, he made hologram technology on a shoestring budget. Miles has all his gadgets, likely, that he made. Pete is the smart one making their tools, Miles is just using them.

Bruh. I wasn't talking about the like...in-game gadgets alone, you know that, right? I'm talking about the gadgets he makes in general. That's why I brought up the wingsuit, which he makes and is still in testing according to Miles. That's why I brought up the holograms that he uses in Miles Morales, which he made that Miles steals for his own. Some of these people need to relax. It's most likely a small break for Peter Parker where he will eventually come back to it. The next game is most likely Miles and Cindy, also known as Silk, duo. Miles is going to try to train her and she will most likely give him a hard time about it or something. I hope it isn't cliched like that, but it certainly might be.

Yeah the costume itself doesn't look bad. If it didn't have a hair hole or the shoes, it would look pretty dope. As it is though, it looks weird.

Honestly, the costume is meh but mostly fine. The main problem I have with it is the costume revealing his hair, I'm sorry but that's just too much revealed personal identity than I feel Spider-Man should be willing to have.

Ok, that's so stupid, I'd be more willing to buy it as some half-assed fanart. The hoodie & Air Forces feel kinda patronizing, really trying to emphasize "see how black he is?" angle. Not to mention that while it's hardly ever a consistent detail, but wouldn't having shoes limit his wall sticking/crawling abilities? Then, the exposed hair just seems to pointless. Miles' standard red & black was simple, similar enough for familiarity, & distinct enough to stand out from Peter.

he also feels strained because he feels pulled between two worlds - researcher/scientist and superhero, and as a result, isn't enough for either one.

by trusting Miles to take the lead, he knows he can help more people by continuing with the work that he and Harry started.

And we've seen in the first one that THIS Peter's version of doing more is working for people like Otto, advancing his science career, his actual passion.

the fanbases refusal to let go of peter is probably the reason they keep trying to retire him lol. dudes been webbin it up for decades, let him relax and do something other than risk his life fighting crime all day. Peter is allowed to have stable employment and change the world in other ways than just punching people

Glad I'm not the only one who was bothered by the air forces comment. I had a few pair of air forces ones back in the early 2000's. Probably the most pride I had in my shoes lol.

Those Adidas don't actually look too bad outside of the game though. I'd wear some of those with less loud colors.

The alternate color scheme of the Miles suit isn't as bad. That weird toothpaste blue really ruins it. But I don't like the hair sticking out either.
