The dizziness has been going on since I woke up. Tried eating and hydrating to check some stuff off but it's continuing.

Just wanted to go to the zoo today :(

Vertigo sucks. I'll get an attack every once in a while and then I'm screwed for the day.

I've never experienced this prolonged dizzy feeling before, not even after huge nights of drinking.

Literally upon waking up, before my eyes even opened, the first thing I experienced was this weird sensation of my head spinning like one of them wacky Paper Mario items. I just feel this cloudiness in my head now as my brain is struggling to connect with my body fully apparently.

I thought it would last for like a few minutes.

Are you going through some type of withdrawal?

I had it bad when I stopped drinking. Still have it at times where I feel like I'm falling when looking at the sky

No, only drank maybe 3-4 times a year. Don't do any drugs. Medication I take is for asthma (inhaler and such), which has been life-long.

Not going through a special diet or anything of that nature. It's probably just years of unhealthiness in general showing signs here and there.

If it persists, please seek a doctor who can refer you to a neurologist. Don't let stuff like that fester.

I'll definitely get to it if it persists. I hope it's just a random thing though.

I got vertigo almost a year ago, and I discovered through some experimenting while at home that it only happened when I tilted my head backward and to the left while looking up (which is something I have to do often at work). It lasted most of this year but it eventually stopped a couple months ago without me even realizing I wasn't triggering it anymore. No idea why or how it even started or ended.

Yep. I've gotten random attacks once or twice a year since I was a kid. Would wake up on a jolt and feel like I was tumbling over. Would need to grab my bed and just wait until it passes. Then the rest of the day I feel sick and nauseous, and can't walk straight like I'm drunk.

Usually passes by the next day.
