Any fighting game on the Genesis was horrible. Imagine having to use a 3 button controller for a game that, at the very least, requires 4 buttons.

Nintendo screwed up but removing blood seeing how they had a better controller for fighting games. Not everyone had the six button Genesis controller.

It's a shame that Nintendo didn't get a re-release of the first game. Thematically, Mortal Kombat is my favorite of the original 16-bit trilogy. But without the blood, it just feels like I'm watching a TV edit of an awesome action movie. ... Copied to Clipboard!
