Anyone got any experience with these? I have an old SP with a dead battery, would like to get it up and running again.

Is there a local video game store near you? Shot in the dark depending on your territory, but there's a place near me that replaces older devices/games, which makes me feel a hell of a lot safer over ordering something from a faceless internet random.

Not Amazon but far better than an OEM battery. I have them in 2 of my SP and will get a third when I get around to modding my third SP.

Theres the chain called The Exchange, but also a couple independent local shops on the west side where I used to live at that are rather reputable.

That first one is only 600 mAh meaning it has less capacity. The second one should theoretically have similar power to the one I posted but I don't know the brand.

Quick look over in the game boy advanced subreddit shows several people recommending this specific battery.

Ill probably go with that one then. Probably shoulda checked Reddit too for suggestions.

Im not modding the SP itself so does that really matter all that much then? I just want to play my old Pokemon and Mario games with it.
