Everything LaGrange touches goes to hell. She was the worst education minister we've ever had and she'll absolutely screw up health care now that she's health minister.

Back in her education minister days, she went on a stupid crusade on social media because she thought a question on a teacher's social studies unit exam asking for a student to interpret a source was a form of indoctrination.

It gets overshadowed by the big orange but Canadian politics (provincial and federal) have become truly dogshit in the last five years. Nobody actually represents the Canadian populace.

I'll agree. I've supported the Liberals in every election since 2015 but they really haven't done much good. The Conservatives are objectively worse though, especially now that we have Diet Ben Shapiro as their party leader.

Exactly. We vote to keep the Conservatives out of power, but the Liberals aren't exactly doing anything worth getting excited about. I've actually voted NDP in every election I've been 18 for, but in practice my riding has historically been red and hasn't changed. I'd vote red if I had any reason to believe that blue had a chance of pulling ahead here.

The US' two-party system is a mess, but it's not like having more parties here actually helps matters.

I've been lucky in that I live somewhere where it barely matters if I vote Liberal, so I never have. I voted Green back when Elizabeth May got in and it's been NDP for every other election. I'm also no fan of the Liberals; I'd consider voting for them in opposition to the Cons. But there's often little chance of a Liberal win in certain districts I inhabit so I'm typically more inclined to vote NDP.

I'm still in shock from that CSIS whistleblowing incident where Trudeau refused to investigate election interference because he knows his party benefitted from it, and nobody did anything. Just shameless corruption.

So with the ethics comminsioner gone, what next?
