You're going into a huge building one morning for work reasons when you step into an elevator to take you to the top floor.

You walk in half-asleep looking at your feet until after the door closes and you realize that alongside you inside the elevator by coincidence is every ex-girlfriend you have ever had.

So, it's a long elevator ride with nobody at all, then.

Man, this is depressing.

So it's just me and person I haven't seen since 2001. We broke up in 1998 though. I probably wouldn't even recognize her until she told me her name

yeah, one person from 10 years ago. probably be slightly awkward but i'd just keep my mouth shut.

Fun fact: I was shopping at Target one day and suddenly my ex-wife, who I havent seen in over a decade, started walking down the same aisle.

She walked right by me. She did not recognize me.

Granted, I have a lot less hair, a handsome beard and Im more muscular since then. But still..

A nice ride to the top all by myself then.

Things ended mostly on good terms with just about all of my exes. It'd still be awkward though to have so many there at the same time. But I'd probably speak to them.

How serious do they have to have been to count?

Even if there's quite a high bar there, there's gonna be two people there I'd really rather not see again.
