I got my wisdom teeth taken out in October. After Thanksgiving / early December I have two appointments for a deep cleaning. After that I plan on getting braces. How does it compare to getting wisdom teeth taken out? My friend recently got braces and she said it took 30 minutes and they forced her mouth open the entire time, but other than that it wasn't too bad.

It does not hurt. They are more of an inconvenience than anything.

Been 20 years, maybe a slight pressure on your teeth but the fact I can't remember much about having them should let you know it's not a big deal.

Not painful in the moment. For the first few days it can be uncomfortable after appointments but it's manageable. (I had braces for 7 years it's doable).
