Kingdom Hearts. I don't think they even really knew what the in-universe thing called Kingdom Hearts was at that point. They probably still don't.
Kingdom Hearts 2. The third game in the series. Kingdom Hearts 358 Days/2. The individual parts do have something to do with the game, but the title as a whole is a bizarre word salad. Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep. I. I don't know what the fuck this is supposed to be. I know a character says the phrase "birth by sleep" in a scene, but I'm pretty sure it's just a stupid way of saying awakening. And said awakening doesn't happen in the game, it's just something that's supposed to happen at the exact opposite end of the series chronologically. Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance. Dreams are a big part of the story. "Dropping" is a system in the game (that has no reason to be called that). Distance doesn't mean anything. It just awkwardly lends itself to the DDD (3D) pun. Kingdom Hearts 3. It's like the sixteenth game in the series. Chain of Memories, Coded, and Melody of Memory are all clear and elegant enough. --- Hambo's alt. ... Copied to Clipboard!
