Witnesses have said the dogs were the recently banned Bully XL.

Though they could be any of those nasty pitbull types.

Breeding, selling, or abandoning those dogs is illegal. If you want to keep one you already have, it has to be registered, neutered, and have a muzzle and a lead in public.

Witnesses for dog breeds are notoriously unreliable. Seeing as they have the (destroyed) dogs in custody I'd rather just wait for an official confirmation.
