Seems dumb. You'd think the individual companies would want to use sports to attract people to their existing streamers, like ones like Netflix and Peacock are doing, and not wall it off on it's own. I guess they could charge a premium price for this one.

I wonder how the NFL will react to this. Reminder, they turned down AppleTV+ being the new home for Sunday Ticket despite Apple offering more than Google, because Apple just wanted to include in their base subscription.
