Not trying to put words, just interpreting calling Ulti's stance a "cop out" and your implying that he was being a hypocrite for choosing to lynch you despite perhaps previously saying he would not.

If you don't preface with "damn ulti, I know you're town but..." it comes off as casting aspersions. Why else point out that ulti may have said he would never lynch you?

I admit I feel a bit wary that Chang absolutely dominated me with next level yomi, but wasting a shot ain't it. Simply mow down everyone without a scan to their name.

Comedy option, Sbell flips scum, shoot Ulti to free Wallz into a regular tracker. This is a comedy humour joke, please don't feel the need to point out all the reasons it wouldn't actually work.

With our lack of power an unblockable and vanillizer on scum seems a bit much.

I also dont know why chang would claim bp. The proper way to play bp as town is to always just claim vanilla(or if feeling it, some form of town power). At no point should you claim bp unprompted.

i claimed town power outright like 15 minutes before day 2 ended. that was my attempt to draw a shot. Dont know if it worked

and then i spent like 3 days claiming there were too many vanillas. I cant exactly turn around and claim vanilla after that.

if i didnt get shot on night 2 i simply wasnt going to get shot. Idk what you think claiming vanilla here accomplishes anyway.

youre dead tonight, leas dead tomorrow night, at what point are they shooting me? Im going to get lynched before i ever get shot

I'm know I'm vanilla and I'm happy with how quickly death responded with 'average joes' day 1 and Ulti is like 4x "scanned" now
In my experience with Death, I know that he would not claim without Sultan writing up his example vanilla PM first. So i dont think there is any reason to town read him for that.

I wasnt straightforward about my role. This is exactly how it works. I neighbor someone, and from that point forward, I track them until one of us dies (or the game ends). If whoever I am tracking dies, I get to pick someone else to track discretely, with no mandatory neighbor. I really didnt want to reveal any of that info, but if theres this much speculation on my role, what it means for game balance etc. I dont want town to be working with wrong information.

Ulti has not moved a single night so far.
I'm inclined to believe this. Just because I dont see scum playing this out this way so smoothly and having this additional piece to the role ready to go. The way it was claimed around Ulti also still feels natural as I am remembering now.

I mean, Chang as BP *is* an option for lying. And it could simply be a lie to discourage red from shooting him since red was claimed as simply vigi at the time. That's partly why I wouldn't hate red taking a shot to confirm BP. I don't buy scum BP as a thing that should exist.

But barring using the shot to confirm chang I think I'd want red to shoot death is Sbell flips town.

Beyond that, I have been trying hard to understand the game and decipher the claims and lies.

Beyond that was my interaction with death day 1 and instantly recognizing that his claim was missing an element as a vanilla myself.

While this is a reference to Isquen who flipped town, I do think it feels like manipulation. Sbell started defeatist, it wasn't selling as demoralized town, he now really wants to live and fuck you all for saying otherwise. It reads to me like trying different appeals trying to lock onto that upset town vibe people sometimes shy away from. I hope that's the case, because the alternative is two town players who refuse to scum hunt and get really angry with people for suspecting them for it. Sure from the mightiest Chris to the lowliest Crescent, who doesn't enjoy a good "fuck you all for being wrong about me burn in hell" but it's just. Not a very fun strategy.

I was wrong about Isquen, I respected him a bit too much as town. But I also respect Sbell. I really want to believe that this time it's emotional manipulation. Because this is the phase of the game where you can fast forward a bit, process of elimination, nothing personal GGs etc. Gotta either be fine with dying or fine with scum/town hunting at least slightly. Or just enter every game hoping to get a good town power role, since we know Sbell doesn't really enjoy being scum at this point. So tl'dr, I don't buy the attitude,but I'm sad if I'm wrong. I started writing this in spoilers to include a brief disclaimer I wasn't just being snarky, but it turned into actual analysis, apologies.
