Educators are putting in work to "follow" the ridiculous law in the most tongue-in-cheek way possible to keep attention on the law and just how horrifically broad it is. They can still get the students the information they need, and frame it with a "this is what Republicans to keep you from learning." As a bonus, it could help teachers identify students that may need protection. Even if I just need to tutor a kid for 30 minutes in the library one time after school I am required to fill this out and have it signed by their parents. Same with any other field trip or activity we do (on valentines day some classes went outside during the day for activities, they needed this pass too).
