That doesn't solve the issue of the endless cycle that is present in TC's post.

Washing dishes is the worst part of cooking, but washing them as you go helps prevent a huge pile at the end. Cooking after coming home from work sucks, because by the time you're done cleaning, you really aren't going to get around to doing much else. But depending on how many people you're cooking for, you can always try to prepare enough food for a couple of days, limiting how much you have to cook throughout the week.

Really. I hate doing dishes. If you give whatever youre using a quick rinse/wipe and throw it in the dishwasher its not bad though. Just a few minutes.

I also use appliances like rice cookers and crockpots to have minimal dishes.

alright so what you've gotta do is get a slow cooker and use that to make a nice stew, and use a regular fork in case it needs to be stirred while cooking.
instead of grabbing a bowl to eat out of, eat it directly out of the slow cooker and use that same fork you used earlier for stirring the stew.

when it starts getting low, simply add more stew ingredients and let them cook.

keep repeating this and you'll never have to do dishes again.

I got a small countertop one that doesn't need to be installed; you just fill its water tank with a jug (5L so about three jugs full, takes about a minute). Totally worth it.

I feel technology has solved the dishes problem.

Now it needs to move on to ironing and folding clothes.

You shouldn't rinse before putting things in the dishwasher. The enzymes in the tablets/powder need something to work with.

For me it was an emtpy sink. Back when I had a roommate I explained to him if he washed his dishes right away there'd never be a sink full dishes. "But it would be full! When I put them in there! It's impossible to not have a sink full of dishes!"

I live alone now.

For ironing, the trick is to get them out of the dryer immediately after it finishes

They won't be perfect but they'll be mostly wrinkle free >_>
