Are they legit searching the board's topics past the front page?

Wdym TC? Personally I just took a glance at the "More Topics from this Board" section. Anything interesting and I'd post in it. Sometimes I'd search for pitbull topics because I find a certain user's rants lol-worthy.

Topics aren't like Taylor Swift, they never die they just go out of style.

Be happy that CE topics purge after a few days. We don't get crazy necroposts like some other forums do, where a topic from years ago gets bumped randomly lol.

But I think a lot of it has to do with the "More Topics from this Board" at the bottom that tries to show you similar topics that haven't purged yet. Like right now, 3 of the 4 topics it's showing me are there because they also have "died" in the title. Sometimes those recommendations are older topics.

if that "post new message button" is there, it's fair game for anyone to bump it. time's an illusion

I'm guilty of this, not days old topics but hours old ones and it's because I read the backlog of CE when I get on here and sometimes I find topics I want to post in. Like this one!

Sometimes I open a topic, put my phone down, den hours later pick it up again and post in dat topic.

I do it rarely. Sometimes it's from the More Topics thing and sometimes I will see a topic, but forget to post or can't post at the moment and then remember it and then post.

There's a couple of folks who keep bumping up topics either as a gimmick or just wanting more posts in controversial topics. One will block/ignore you if called out on it.

I'm guilty of going into those and making a post. I usually don't notice how old they are.

Also seeing that screenshot while using one of the dark themes was not enjoyable. The beacons are lit, Gondor calls for aid, etc.

Yes. As slow of traffic this board gets now if its not on the front page its considered a dead topic.

I never noticed that section.

Ill get a notification about a topic I made days before randomly and will wonder how they found it or care to post in it now that no one cares lol.

Sometimes ill see a topic the day before on the front page with barely any posts and then the next day Ill see it again with like a couple more posts and I dont get it.
