I thought applying the pirate theme would muddy up the concept and also that there was nothing else to add to the joke, but once I got this composition and the idea of gingerbread men as the pirates, I got more into it. You gave me the mercy of oven mitts and then I hid 80% of each hand behind the pan anyway like an absolute ingrate. Also I didn't even try to make the text look good or interesting cuz it never works out anyway lol. I had a whole topic where I only drew from memory and it was disastrous lol. Fluff, wings, fangy mouths, and claws are all things that I love looking at in people's art, but they're very intricate and idk how to draw them and I'm too lazy to take the time to learn. But I gotta press on cuz I do love this prompt and I like what I have so far. ~~I love Alolan Meowth so much.~~ Also to add on to my complaints, the fucking tapered pencil is buggy and weird. It's supposed to be thicker the faster you're moving the stylus, but at minimum width it basically works the other way around and behaves unpredictably. I would just use the non tapered version for super small details, but it's kinda more blurry and not as fine as the tapered pencil.
