Haven't had a job for a while now. Barely got myself back to working again. Feels pretty good not being lazy all the time. Plus getting paid to move around and free food?

Who wouldn't want to work?

Congrats. I hate work, but I absolutely get it. I lost my job early December. Just started my first fast food job two weeks ago, and my first bartending job yesterday... And my first time having two jobs in over ten years. It blows ass all the way around, but does feel good to be up and about.

Im looking forward to retirement. Worked odd jobs as a kid growing up. Lawn mowing, delivering newspapers, farm work, that sort of stuff. Even had a job in my high school where I washed dishes in the kitchen during study hall as a part time job. Then when I turned 16 and started driving I worked a typical high school fast food job for 2 years.

After high school I was in the military for 5 years. Then after that I got a civilian job that was similar to my military job and Ive been at that the last 25 years. So Ive been in the same industry for the last 30 years. Im getting ready to turn 48 and although I enjoy my job enough, Im just tired of working.

Its a good job, Im paid well, I live in a cheap cost of living area of the Midwest. I own a nice home which is completely paid off and the only bills I have are required monthly bills. Im just stockpiling cash and investments and doing well but I just want to be done.

Really looking forward to retirement and taking it easy. Im basically just working for the insurance coverage. Money isnt an issue.
