I want to ask wouldn't it be better if cartoon works like how anime works?

Normally in Japan first the manga comes out, then it gets animated. Doing that seems to help with the quality of the anime.

Sometimes cartoons get cancelled for something stupid such as toys not selling or the wrong viewers watching it.
Sometimes it can be the network does everything in their power to sabotage or sometimes not greenlight it.

There's certainly good anime, but there are mountains of shit anime, too. The manga to anime pathway isn't necessarily a recipe for success.

Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less.

?

Originals are higher quality and don't suffer from "sorry, no more seasons, read the rest if you want the ending"

Watching some anime has honestly infuriated me. Yes, having a manga helps out with the quality, but a lot of anime don't take off and are left on cliff hangers. What's worse is that some of these anime are based on light novels, not manga, meaning you not only have to read to continue the story, but actually find a legit translated copy of said LN to continue the story.

Shows that were anime first make up a disproportionately high percentage of the greatest anime. If the big thing was whether it was a manga first, that would show that adaptations are worse than original works.

If anything, being based on a manga can be a detriment if the adaptation is crap even if the manga isn't. I've tried to get into One Piece multiple times but the pacing of the anime is glacial, likely because a new episode was needed every week. Modern shonen specifically is leagues ahead of a lot of older stuff purely because they don't have to stretch everything out. It's not a guarantee though as good manga is paced... for manga, not anime.

None of this is a guarantee though. One of the most famous anime original franchises (and genres) Gundam was cancelled early due to poor ratings and was only brought back because of merchandise. Evangelion ran out of money and couldn't finish the final couple of episodes and had to do them as a movie.
