In my time with the demo, only completed 2 story missions after entering free roam compared to, like, 8 to 10 side missions, so that's difficult to say. I've liked the writing and narrative in those missions a lot, though.

The respec item in this game lets you respec you growth types and unit colors for recruitable characters, oh God it's so over for me.

Oh, apparently full sweeping those mock battles that show up after you liberate an area gives you 2000g? Like how it introduces you a new class usually. That's neat. I just saw them as a way to see how a mechanic works sometimes but never actually tried to kill them

if you manage to actually kill the wandering units (instead of just doing more damage, and stunning them), you get some honor.

It seems this is true, but you also get that honour once you liberate the area, so you don't need to worry about picking those guys off to maximize honour

....Ugh I didn't realize the boats take you to side areas, why did I never even try to use one?

going back to the starting area was the first thing i did when getting overworld access... but admittedly i forgot to access any of the other ones too lol

So this demo has a time limit? That's a bummer. I'm somebody who dilly dallies around constantly in games so I would hate the stress of a time limit locking me out after a bit.

I mean it's 7 hours of non-menu playtime, it's not exactly short lol.

But boy do you feel the pain when those last few minutes are counting down.

Late to the party on this one but been playing it up to were you can walk around freely. The only thing i don't really like is the time limit in battles. Been a few times where i've barely managed to clear a level. Other than that it basically just feels like a mash up of Valkyria Chronicles and Fire Emblem. Doubt i'll buy it day 1 but will probably pick it up later in the year when it drops in price.

was honestly pretty worried i wouldn't be able to get the game day 1 after all after realising i've got some other bills to take care of this week, but then i realised i somehow hadn't considered getting a physical copy through pay later services... now to hope it actually arrives on time lol (i probably should've just not done delivery, but i wasn't sure i'd have time to drive out of town for it...)

Yes, but is there a warning alert or something that tells you if you're getting close, or does it flash? Again I never even looked at it for 8 hours lol.

the dot on the dial turns red when it's about to run out. I think that's it though.

They've been uploading 2 characters to that YouTube page every day and God I can't WAIT to use some of these units.

I really wish the battle forecast wasnt always correct

I realized later that it's like that because the game is intending for you to adjust your battalion or spend items if needed to try and get different results, or even spend command point if necessary to shuffle leaders around before the fight.
