On the Samurai Jack question, I wouldnt have voted for it without the revival bringing its relevance back so I expect it would have gone both ways.
Anyway: Undertale Super Mario Bros Minecraft Super Smash Bros Ultimate I only feel super strongly about the first two. Undertale has easily the most recognisable video game music track of the 21st century, has the most views on Youtube and was played for the pope. Super Mario Bros defined how modern soundtracks worked. After that Minecraft music seems super popular with a wider audience, the full soundtrack has 48 million views on Youtube. Lastly Smash Ultimate is there as a giant love letter to video game music in general. Edit: Oh I guess Smash Ultimate falls afoul of the rules, so Donkey Kong Country 2 then but I am nit adamant about it. --- I just decided to change this sig. Blaaaaaaargh azuarc ... But to me soundtracks implies something larger, a musical collection that exceeds the sum of its parts. Umineko is my only fanboy vote. Symphony of the Night to a lesser extent, but I legit believe that's a huge achievement in music that continues to be recognized. Undertale and Nier are huge breakout soundtracks.
