I used to have one but we're not technically allowed here and the faucets here don't work to hook up a dishwasher. I've been having (and hating) to wash everything by hand the past could years. Especially since full size dishwashers are usually pretty energy and water efficient, unlike stoves (which is why toaster ovens are totally worth it, especially if you live alone or with one other person). As much as I love using a dishwasher, I could absolutely live without one and just wash by hand if I needed to. (even if you re-jigger the faucet anyway, the hose might not be strong enough to withstand dishwasher pressures and then it will leak and you can be in a tough spot.) (not trying to make things difficult, it's just the situation I am in that I wish I wasn't in.) --- This day is gone. We can't relive it. I don't even know where this "dishwasher pressure" would come from or how it would affect the tap source. though it's definitely non-trivial to modify the faucet to be able to attach the dishwasher to it. (I barely have any counter-space as it is though and not even sure I could fit one but I sure miss having one.) (may have to pay more renter's insurance too, can't remember) --- This day is gone.
