  1. Protagonist energy - You now have plot armor. You do not know where or how, but your life seems to be moving in bold new directions. New and interesting things start happening to you for the better. People begin to notice and like you a lot more. Risks you take tend to work out in your favor. Not everything is sunshine and rainbows, and you will experience hardships along the way (you're still only human after all), but you can have faith that your life is on a positive, upward path. The winds of adventure are calling, and any path forward that you choose will lead to greatness.
  2. Power over the veil of death - You can now kill or revive people at a touch of your hand. When you make skin contact with anyone using your hand(s), you can either snuff out their bodily processes and conscious thought permanently, or you can jump-start the spark of life back to someone who has been beyond the pale for less than 10 minutes. The death happens immediately; you cannot set it to activate later. People will be greatly suspicious of you once they notice your target's demise if you're still within their eye-shot of the body. Individuals you revive will react like they've been hit with a dose of Narcan after an opioid overdose: they will immediately regain consciousness with full alertness and responsiveness without knowing what happened in-between dying and coming-to.
  3. Time loop shenanigans - You are able to relive any day you want at will, like reloading a save file that begins when you wake up for that given day. You are not limited to any one specific day, so you can hop around to any previously-lived day you like, as much as you want. You keep all your memories and knowledge intact. Go ahead, really squeeze the joie from your virve. However, you cannot alter the course your life has taken. No matter how far you deviate from your one true history, things will reset to how they would have been otherwise when you go to sleep and wake up the next day. You may still advance time forward in your life and make consequential decisions like normal when in the present, but the past is fixed and unchanging. Dying during a reload will wake you up at the beginning of that same day again, unless you die in the present--that's still permanent.
  4. Literal god - Matter, space, and time. You have power over them all. People? They're ants to you, mere playthings. Concepts like spacetime? You can reshape them to your will. What is reality other than what you choose to shape it into being? You are a deity that lords over all. You are neither alive nor dead, you simply are and always are. However, you are no longer able to feel. Satisfaction and pleasure are strangers to you. Bitterness, pain, and suffering are concepts you know of, but you can no longer grasp those experiences in your soul. There are no equals, there is no purpose, there is only you.

The time loop. I feel like there has to be some benefit to going back in the past, making different decisions on a different day to see the outcome, and using that information in the present to make different decisions to improve the future, even if the present isnt immediately changed when you return.

Unless Im misunderstanding it, yeah, Ill take that one.

With the time loop, does the alternate timeline cease to exist, so that it never happened outside of my memory? Because then I could go absolutely fucknuts and it'll have no moral consequence, and that's appealing.

Your understanding is correct.

Forget the Marvel Cinematic Universe understanding of timelines. The days you relive have no external consequence to anyone or anything outside of you. There are zero moral consequences.

Got it.. although Im sure one downside to this one has to be some form of emotional toll of learning about new shit in the past, then having the whiplash of returning to present and knowing you dont have the power necessarily to immediately change things at that time, or possibly not at all. Would have to take a bit of emotional planning, Id suppose, and probably avoiding picking random days in the past or overdoing it to avoid overload.

I went with the time loop.

I don't trust anyone with that last power, even myself.

That last power is kind of a trap. With literally all possible perspectives, you might be everything, but you as you are now are just a drop in all that everything, no more relevant to the omnipotence and omniscience than anything else.

I might have underpowered the death stuff and made the plot armor too attractive.
