Think it was a few years into the war with Afghanistan I saw the death toll was only I'm the thousands. I personally knew a guy who had 3 trucks blown out from under him. I would for Vietnam as well if the government hadn't suppressed U.S. losses to keep pro-war enthusiasm back home. In modern wars? It's the safest it's ever been for U.S. soldiers, so the odds are in their favor. Theres a coping phenomenon for almost all human actions including rape and murder. I don't care how someone tries to cope to disown their child. It's still a crazy thing to do.
