Dalthine 03/28/24 4:57:30 PM #303:	Tried them both out when I got home, just a quick, easy mission for a test run before getting into anything. HMG definitely kicks like crazy. Very hard to focus bullets onto a single target, even prone. It's got a 1,200 rpm setting that will drain its entire clip in 2 seconds flat if you feel like being a madman. Takes out the AT-ST walkers from the front so it's got some armor pen, but it takes a good chunk of bullets to do it still. Kind of disappointing results on devastators and berserkers, at a glance. Might have to give it another shot longer term with the lowest rpm setting and more careful aiming. I'm seeing the hype on the Quasar. Recoilless without reloading, or spammable EAT. Barely felt the 10s cooldown on it. You need to be pinpoint accurate with it though, so keep that in mind. I had way more success going into first person with it. In third person, the reticle wavers like crazy as you're charging. In first person, you'll see a "heat haze" that makes it look wobbly, but there's a pinpoint in the middle that you were originally focused on that's accurate. Just keep in mind that if you hold the trigger for the full charge, it's going to shoot. It doesn't wait for you to let go. <cite>Dalthine posted [p:979612712] in Helldivers... It rewards the player with killing elites every 30 seconds if they can stay alive versus calling down EAT-ITs every 90/120 seconds depending on the call down and cool down banes at higher difficulties. As it is, you get a damage increase so small that it isn't even noticeable, at the cost of less ammo, more sway when aiming, and the turning speed of a goddamn HMG turret. The Diligence CS is a horrendous weapon. I'll try Diligence, too. I just cannot kill hulks, lmao.
