I'm just thinking about this from the perspective of my enemies.

I just seem like a normal dude with slight magic power and a mere trifle for some of them to kill. But then the battle starts and suddenly I'm calling forth ancient heroes from the Age of Gods, Queens of Fairy legend and other monstrous opponents for them to fight.

And if they somehow clear the first wave of these people, at the very back of my lineup comes this big angry fucker straight from Greek mythology to hit them when they're tired.

More opponents should be scared of the Master of Chaldea.

Also, Shimosa has SO MANY things that are referenced in Fate Samurai Remnant. I don't know if any of you have played that, but you all should. It's FANTASTIC, and you'll be going "OMG!" at a lot of the stuff that happens.

Had a pretty busy weekend, couldn't play.

Try to at least login to maintain a streak going even if you don't play.
Getting the tickets helps and getting the login bonuses is nice.

Some of these gimmick fights in Shimousa are obnoxious. The assassin one where she NP seals the highest percent and stuns the last attackers is just pointless difficulty addition.

Training you to learn how to use the tools you have. Nobody even talks about that one cause it's free as hell iirc.

Yeah that one is super easy and one of the most tame gimmicks of fights these days.

I do enjoy the love and care given to Japanese history throughout this game. I mean, it's a love letter to history in general, but yeah.

Okay so I'm finding that at NP1, Morgan is kind of just a glass cannon, and without her skills maxed she doesn't help the party nearly as much as I'd like. Not that I'm criticizing my wife or anything, I guess I should've just been more prepared.

A higher NP level won't make her less of a glass cannon!

Improving Morgan's skills would be a good use of Pure Prisms imo.

Morgan needs her s1 and s2 juiced as high as possible, but yeah, zerks are generally glass cannons and Morgan's no exception

Yeah, I'd kinda see what happens for you on other banners before getting too serious about deciding. Aside from Castoria's banner, there's a good chance Kama will get one before Anniversary, etc.

I watched the Lore video for the Lostbelt prologue and LB1.

Holy SHIT I didn't realize how nuts this Lostbelt thing was. So for the entirety of part two are we just confined to that battle tank since they took Chaldea away from us???

It'd be spoilers to fully answer that, but... (spoilers up through where we are now in NA... so Tunguska)

At first Chaldea is indeed restricted to just that tank - for LB1 and LB2, IIRC. Around the time of LB3 they find another base from one of the more enigmatic branches of the Mage's Association that kind of dodged the bleaching by being in a pocket dimension or something and move in there. But later after Tunguska (so post-LB6) they lose that one too, but we've massively upgraded our ride in the meantime - we've got like an airship that can launch the tank if they want to provide air support or something.

Oh also you guys don't have to worry too much about spoiling me. Not only do I watch half hour length lore videos before I even get started, I am constantly bouncing around the wiki.

I do not tie my enjoyment of stories to not being spoiled about twists, because I'm an adult not a child lol

I've seen enough from the ppl in Salem to think that the better approach here would've just been to come in and start laying the smack down on these people. None of this skirting around the edges pretending to be performers. This Hopkins guy needs the hell beaten out of him and to be thrown in that cell.

Seirennaru Heretics is so good - Salem music is just generally on-point, map theme is baller as is the battle theme. As is Salem in general. It's my favorite Epic of Remnant.

This is the real Sanson. The one from Orleans was A) summoned by Gilles and B) stuffed full of Madness Enhancement juice

Do they explain why they couldn't just beat the hell out of these obnoxious puritans? Coz trying to 'lay low' is silly when the population of the town is that low. Whoever the enemy is knows they're there and who they are ffs.

Yeah it's a combo of being very depowered + the servants are all weak fighters to begin with save Nezha + we're trying to save these people, not murder the shit out of them + if you die in the game you die for real. Makes combat a super unappealing proposition on every front.

I guess with them all being nerfed that makes more sense. Seeing as if the whole town turned it into a fight, we'd lose on numbers.

But they're really cooking now. All hell has well and truly broke loose.

We still waiting on Lavinia.

Really like the artist for Abigail too, went hard after Hokusai and decently hard for Yang.
Also did the art for Ina who while a Vtuber looks like she'd fit in as a foreigner servant.

It's available to everyone, and it's a sequel to the All the Statesmen event, which is now free in the Rare Prism shop (which you get a free new Servant for doing). There's also a new Servant in the FP gacha, so now's the best time to roll all your FP if you have any extra.

Thoughts on the ending?

It was good. It felt slightly rushed. I felt like there should've been more Abby/Ritsuka interaction throughout the story to make the ending have a bit more gravity, but overall it was still very good. I like that Sanson got to keep his pre-Salem memories, also.

I got that Servant, and I'll go check out the All the Statesmen thing. Does this event drop any worthwhile rewards? coz I was gonna skip it due to not liking the art style at all.
