The welfare CE is one of the best CEs in the game, and the "dig site" minigame is a pseudo-lotto. I'm iffy on the story so far but it's absolutely worth doing just for the rewards. Hard to turn down more Crystallized Lores.

Yup, has a system where you get basically unlimited material rewards as you play. Not sure if it's particularly better than most events, though, so doing it or not is up to you.

Yup I started going into it just skipping the story and the rewards seem very nice.

For many farming nodes it's Best in Slot for Morgan and/or Arjuna Alter

I've seen this guy in multiple comments sections talking shit about Morgan for gameplay reasons. Calling her "Mid-gan" and talking shit about her damage output and how Arjuna Alter clears and everything like that and finally I went on an unhinged rant about how the dude is a virgin loser who doesn't deserve Morgan.

(People like that are so smooth-brained because they have different use cases -- Arjuna Alter makes big numbers, Morgan has trait niches and big challenge utility)

Seems like the 4* ticket might be coming Friday? Time to finally fix my mistake of not rerolling for Herc.

I think I can scrounge up 10 multis (maybe 11?) for Castoria. I have a feeling this will be when I start regretting past pull decisions.

Or do I grab a need that I actually have to fill like Astraea and wait for the FSN anniversary ticket to get the Faker...

I think so. Getting to play the main story with him and Morgan in my party is literally all I wanted. Plus when the FSN anni ticket comes out i can get his NP up.

I wish I'd been playing for so long like the rest of youse so I could have him up to NP5 by now.

I still can't believe I got double Herc from that.

My luck has seriously been EX when it comes to my pulls in this game. The only banner I struggled with was Bazette, but I followed that up with NP2 Barghest, NP3 Baobahn Sith, and Oberon from the very next banner lol.

That's how they get it they give you a year or two run of great luck and then yank it away. It all really started last year when I tried for the Summer 6 swimsuits and spent like 600 SQ without getting even a single one.

Ive had bad luck since. Even my biggest wins are like, 300 average rolls for the SSR since then.

Well goddamn. Good thing once I get EMIYA I don't really have any other servants I desperately want.

You have Castoria and Morgan, so any Friend Merlin will let you have a good shot at CQs now.

You will have more chances to get Bob and Bagels (Baobhan and Barghest) to NP5 later, they're on pretty much every banner Morgan is on

I finally have both Morgan and EMIYA though!

Because my Castoria pulls went well, and because there aren't any characters I feel a strong desire for at the moment, I decided I might as well pull on the Tamamo banner, at least until I got the mice.

...I got Tamamo on my first multi. I'll enjoy this year or two of great luck while it lasts.

Just saw that 1 to 2 is the only big jump in boosts for her NP, so I guess that's good.

You mostly get skill materials from events.

Run enough lottos and you will eventually have hundreds upon hundreds of every mat. That's the general method of not dealing with mats in this game.

But yeah basically lottos or other infinite faming events, with the caveat that it will only be for a dozen or so types of mats a year.

Other than that you hope the ones you need are in an upcoming event shop or deal with the painful rate you get them from free quests.

Yeah, it's basically running lottos to amass a stockpile and then when you're caught up on story, using dead time (no events going on) to run free quests which are the best for dropping the mat(s) you want.

You can eventually get to a point where you're pretty good on mats. Unless you're trying to upgrade every Servant you have to 9/9/9 in which case it never ends lol. But if you're fine with leaving lesser used ones at like 4/4/4 or whatever then you can eventually work your way to a position where you can have enough to skill up a Servant at will if you obtain them for the most part.

And then you enter QP hell

I think Morgan/EMIYA are my two top priorities for maxing the skills out, then obviously Castoria. After that I'm not sure. Probably getting Herc and Gil finished would be good.

I'd say Castoria should be the highest priority tbqh but I don't know if you have access to some of the mats she'd need assuming you grabbed them from the Pure Prism shop for Morgan earlier lol.
