Steelpunk. A cyberpunk derivative focusing on hardware and downplaying software, based on advanced versions of the technology and social environment of the 80's and 90's. You could argue it's not a retrofuturistic setting since it was actually big in its own era. That is, it feels like the 80's mostly because it was written in the 80's. As opposed to derivatives like Steampunk that were written much later than the era they speculate upon.
