I've only seen the first episode, but good news for the fans

Wasn't expecting anything else. Even if it were complete trash, the name recognition alone lead to tons of people checking it out. Let's see once Season 2 drops if they can still retain those numbers and Netflix just doesn't quickly cancel Season 3 as they do for pretty much every other series that isn't Stranger Things.

That's good. I didn't care for the adaptation and lost interest halfway through, but I didn't want to see it fail either. S2 will be the real test of whether or not they can iron out of the flaws of S1 and really deliver.

The kicker is that its third season will also be its last, in order to bring The Legend of Aang to its proper conclusion, per a press release from the streamer

That was expected from the start though so not really news.

Anyways, I'm extremely done with the series after episode 4,definitely not checking out the rest.

I think they can iron out the flaws a bit better. I think the actors are fine, they just need better direction.
