I could no life P5R when I was in my senior year of college coasting to the finish line. But man, after doing 8-5 or 8-6 work days it is really really hard to say ok now I am going to play persona 3 and make like a week or two of progress.

Playing P5R on my Steam Deck made it so much easier to finish. Especially in bed. I went weeks without touching my PC at one point.

I dunno, I played through Persona 5 (for the first time, even) while I was employed.

Yeah it's one of the few reasons I don't touch JRPG's that much anymore, most of them are designed to eat up your time with grinding, sidequests, and filler. But at least you can play them in small dosage, it's how I handle when binging tv shows.

maybe that's why I didn't like Persona 5.

I was in college for both Personas 3&4, and I had a good time with them.

with PS5, on the other hand, I couldn't get around its pacing, and I ended up dropping the game during the fifth palace's boss.
