Noooooooooo 100 hours in I encountered a game breaking bug. Ultimate Party Animal quest. G-Bike is bugged. You can beat his score all you want. It will never count as a win. You have to uninstall the game, disconnect from the internet, reinstall, load a save from before the quest and then do it. Looks like Im shit outta luck.

I beat it :0 now to do post game power leveling and clean up the tackle hard mode!

I was ready to cry when I saw there was another gym battle with Jules but surprisingly I beat it in 4 tries. I think I'm over these minigames though. Cactuar Crush is complete garbage

I finished everything in the gold saucer besides the bugged quest. Beat the protorelic boss, and Ive played Hard Mode up through Chapter 6. Most of the manuscripts in Hard Mode are actually on the side quests. Thats right, to max everyones folios you have to do every side quest again.

Finished up through Chapter 9 in Hard Mode. Maybe Im playing these characters wrong or something, but any time I have to use Barret and/or Red I seriously struggle. Makes me worried for some bosses coming up soon. Cloud/Aerith/Yuffie is an insanely strong combo, having no issues whatsoever with that team.

yes, but you can delete and reinstall the game offline to have it unpatched

when's the pc version coming?

I'm really thinking they should have just done a more direct remake on the PS3 when the demand was highest. Update graphics, voices, some battle system changes, change certain scenes, but overall keep everything the same.

Then years later they could do the "Rebirth Trilogy" reimagining we're seeing now.

Finished up through Chapter 11 on Hard Mode. Galian Beast I ended up using Tifa/Cait/Red, which was shockingly effective. This was due to not having a lot of MP left on other characters from previous bosses, and needing to preserve Clouds MP for Roche. I basically used Cat as a Prayer spammer, and used Red and Tifa to spam Firaga. Worked pretty well. Working on the chapter 12 side quests then on to the annoying Turks and Rufus fight which Im terrified of in Hard Mode. >_>

Have one boss fight left in Chapter 13, then Chapter 14 is all I have left in Hard Mode. After that I still have the last 15 or whatever Chadley simulation challenges, the bugged quest and the things that open from that, and the crunches minigame, and Ill have the Plat.

I'm only on Chapter 11 in Normal still. Cosmo Canyon was a breath of fresh air compared to the annoying Gongaga. Glide de Chocobo is total trash though. Why the hell are the flight controls not inverted? And both sticks do the same thing instead of the right stick controlling the camera. Just dumb

it's not that hard to just push down to go down though, makes more sense than pushing up to go down

It's not hard, it's dumb. I adjusted but I think this is literally the only game I've played without inverted flight controls or an easy toggle for it

Also I don't see a way to change it in the settings unless you mean the PS5 settings

Awesome! Im a bit busy today and probably cant play, but hopefully I can finally get that done tomorrow.

Just have to finish Chapter 14 on Hard, do level 3 of the crunches minigame, and do like 10 more Chadley sim battles and that Plat is mine.

Ahhhh my fingers. Aghhhh my triggers x_x but I did it, I completed the crunches game.

Enjoying it so far. Only on chapter 4 though.

Only sim battles I have left are Bonds of Friendship, and Rulers of the Outer Worlds. :D

Beat Rulers of the Outer Worlds! Just have Bonds of Friendship and final boss on Hard :D

I don't know why, but I got kind of bored with it a little bit. I will get back to it eventually, but I remembered I didn't play the Cyberpunk DLC and I got sucked into that.

Bonds of Friendship took me maybe six hours of attempts? Had some runs were just bullshit happened. Had one run where right at the end Odin turned towards Cloud and did something Ive never seen him do before and killled him, then he immediately chucked a spear at Zack and killed him. And he was seriously so low that if either character had a chance to throw a Fira I would have won.

Also for a lot of the late late game challenges I watched Optinoob for strategies.
