It had trouble keeping on track, and got a re-tool for it's final season but they added maybe one too many mystical and sci-fi elements and it felt unfocused. I grew up watching 80s cartoons and thus have a bit of nostalgia for thundercats, but I'll tell you with no hesitation that the 2011 show was straight up better than the classic one in every way aside from like the opening theme song and animation. It was cancelled not because of something like ratings (it was actually getting great ratings, but it was from teens and adults outside of their kids target range), but because the toys they created weren't selling........yeah, a 2011 show was meant to push toys in a era when kids in general is only really messing with stuff like ipads and like, legos. MegasXLR, symbiotic titan, and mission hill all deserved to go on for way longer than they did.
