This was one of the best games ever made in its time.

The PS2 controls seem so janky now, its weird.

Not far in the fun to play department

Slap modern controls on SA and you'd still have a perfectly good game; just one that looks indie rather than AAA.

Not even saying to change the physics or character/vehicle capabilities. Just update the control scheme.

I think that was the last GTA game I beat and I remember thinking the controls were janky at the time...

Don't they use the new controls from GTA V except shitty? I remember playing III on the remastered and not being able to get to cover like in GTA V so I was just standing there 'dying'.

I dunno what they did in the remaster, I was talking about the original version.

I do recall initially finding the controls awkward (having been used to 3 and VC before that) but once I adjusted I felt they were an improvement. But still not as good as IV and V.

I know but I was talking about slapping new controls and having the same old janky look which fits the bill perfectly but I don't remember if they added V's controls or not and if they did, they didn't add them all in because it felt 'useless'
