imagine KOTOR with controller and widescreen support riight out of the box instead of having to download mods

KOTOR 2 got one for PC at least, along with support for the restored content mod. Switch also got both games but the KOTOR 2 DLC got cancelled.

Imagine if they released KOTOR 2 with the restoration mod but you still have to play through Peragus each time.

They were working on one, but then it all changed the day the fire nation attacked!

Peragus mine sucked. Taris and what Kotor did felt more like a Star Wars movie. Not sure what Kotor 2 was trying there.

Granted I had less experience and used the restoration mod so I couldn't tell the difference or barely got too far. But I forget where I left off but I at least finished a planet or two in Kotor2.

I'm still hoping that the remake isn't dead in the water. That game would be amazing with modernized graphics and better loading times

Yep the thing that annoys me about KOTOR 2 is its linearity and the lack of use of the Ebon Hawk compared to the first game. Once you land on a planet you have to finish it in one go.

Pretty sure the dev that was developing that game just got sold by Embracer.

But didn't they give it to a new dev, like Metroid prime 4?
