seemed like after the first american pie or around that time there was like one right after another. Do they even come out at all anymore. What caused this though?

yeah that could be the reason, same with video games.

there are more small budget video games than there are aaa titles, for like the last several years now

I think newer generations becoming increasingly PC kind of killed the raunchy humor genre.

You can only do the "where is guy/girl going to get caught masturbating this time?" joke so many times before it gets tired.

Yeah it's either 100 million dollar blockbusters or independent films, no in between anymore.
Kind of the same with video games, too.

That recent Jennifer Lawrence movie maybe kind of falls in that category. I don't feel like they make enough comedies period.

You liked that movie? What did you think of her, um, figure? Thought it was kinda overrated, most Hollywood actresses might be better than her in this dept

It wasn't that great, had a few moments I found funny but overall pretty forgettable. I was just giving an example of a newer movie that fit your category. I don't find American Pie movies to be that great either. The first was pretty good, but the rest were mostly just dumb.

cuz we don't have sexually dissatisfied millennials trying to enter adulthood any more :/

disliked that lawrence movie , not sure i like any of her movies. But thought almost all the main american pie movies were really good. Hollywood was ok around the time the american pie movies came out. Seems the movies that come out now are much worse. Theater attendance is way down too. maybe audiences are reacting to the quality of movies that are released these days.
