Diablo II is THE isometric ARPG that every fan of the genre should play at some point imo. Like what Super Metroid and Castlevania SotN are to Metroidvania's.

Yeah the remake. And Diablo 3 was the version with all the expansions. I bought them on Series X. So theyre action RPGs with real time combat?

Yeah.

D3 is a lot different from 2, though.

D2 has actual skill trees and shit, D3 lets you swap skills out freely and gives them to you at certain levels.

yea...sure. we'll go with that.

diablo's great, most people are into the end-game content, but playing through for the story is fun too once or twice.

all about the random loot drops, which can be very powerful, and surviving in Hell difficulty, which gives a -100% magic resistance penalty to players, which must be overcome with gear, getting to around +75% (which takes +175% resistance in everything, a challenge).

there's a lot goin on, hardcore mode too, ladder, etc.
