Whether for physical purchases or online purchases, how long do you keep the receipt? Do you discard/delete right away? Keep them for a week in case you need to make a return? Keep them for months or years in case of a malfunction (for electronics), or even longer to look back at what you purchased and when?
When I buy physical games and movies, I keep the receipt and put it inside the case. When I open the case again years later, I'll see when it was I bought it and how long I've owned it. For example, I see that I bought my copy of Baten Kaitos Origins for the GameCube, along with Paper Mario TTYD and Sonic Adventure DX on 12/01/07 from a Toys R Us for less than $20 each. It's one method I have of reminding myself of something from the past. --- Without truth, there is nothing. ... Copied to Clipboard!
