just started reading book 4 of Stormlight
my interest in this series has slowly dissipated through the third and now fourth book tbh, though after the first two it started pretty high

yeah, i wouldnt want to do it for a first read through, but ive read all these multiple times, and this will be nice to get a fresh new take on it

I like full cast radio dramas (BBC does some great ones), but I find the constant sound effects and background noise in 'graphic audio' distracting and annoying.

My interest in Brandon Sanderson stuff is pretty much contingent on how quickly I can read it. If I can do it rapidly, I like it. But when I have to wait for library holds or like... him writing it, I stop giving much of a fuck.

I basically blitzed Stormlight and loved it, but now waiting for the 5th book is meh.

I read all of the pre-world shift Allomancer stuff in one go and loved that too. But the Wax stuff has been just a hobby. fwiw that has nothing to do w/ my username.

Some of these scenes are so epic in this format, its amazing! Also it sounds infinitely better through good earbuds than just listening to the sample from the youtube video through phone or cpu speakers

I was comparing the graphic audio of mistborn book 1 to the regular audiobook, and the graphic audio is vastly superior.

I've only listened to bits and pieces from YouTube of the graphic audio and it's fucking awesome.

Im doing a Cosmere reading order now. Ive read Mistborn Era 1, Elantris, and The Emperors Soul, and those are early in the reading order. Everything else will be a first read.

I save audio for rereads, and Im not really a fan of Kramer and Reading anyway as a massive Wheel of Time fan.

Im considering backing the leather bound campaign that ends in a few days but I think it makes you pick a Knight Radiant and I dont know any of them, so

i backed that leatherbound. I just went with windrunner because i love kaladin so much. No spoilers, but i highly recommend reading warbreaker before book 2 of the stormlight archive

Listened to nearly half of Elantris while at work today, and the graphic audio has made me like the story a lot more than i remember thinking i did the first time i read it. Its damn good
