Can't go wrong with the Prince of Lechery. I do wish he'd lay off the whole "hellish Mondays" thing, though.

Dayum, they must have missed that line while rewriting that book in their favor.

She's not named in the passage though.
"And the wild-cats shall meet with the jackals, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; yea, the night-monster shall repose there, and shall find her a place of rest."

Lilith by name is never explicitly mentioned in any biblical texts, the name just comes from biblical Hebrew as an origin. Not the old or new testament Bible though

Well, it's not spelled Lilith. It is spelt Lilit.

"Among the howling and hissing wild creatures and demons, Lilit herself, demoness of the night, will call Edom her haunt, A place to recoup and rest between her"

I may be misremembering some of my English and foreign language courses, but wouldnt that name be pronounced similarly regardless of the H?

That's from the King James version. There are hundreds of different translations though.

Well yeah cause it was a night-owl, then night spectre, then night monster, then vampires, night hag, then they changed it to Lilith in '66 lol. There's been like 30 rewrites which makes it pretty hard to take seriously as a text. I just find the lore & concepts interesting

No, just different takes on Asmodeus from different works. "Prince of Lechery" for being associated with sexual temptation/depravity, and another where the lore has him only able to work his evil against humans on Mondays.
