I honestly wish they would stay in the stadium forever. I dont want the team to leave Oakland.

It makes me happy that Fishers Vegas plans are still up in the air

The lease is up one year before they move to Vegas. So then. Sounds like they'll have to play in a minor league park that year too, unless Oakland allows the A's to play in O.co that season. Which hopefully the city tells Fisher to go fuck himself

I think the owner is bluffing. I think he's using LV as a wildcard so he could get what he wants outta my city. We were willing to give him a waterfront ballpark, but he wasn't satisfied. Personally, he needs to sell the team. He really don't care about the team. He don't want to spend any money on the team to make them better, and he always trading the best players for something worse. Plus from what I'm hearing, Vegas doesn't want them, they want their own team. Either way, Oakland will come out on top. MLB already said if they leave, we will get a expansion team. So they can stay or go. It makes no difference.

at least four years. i don't think there's going to be a different 'other ballpark' they play at while they wait for the move.

honestly? until they actually state that a stadium is in the process of being built, i still doubt it's going to happen. the owners are probably one of the stupidest in all of sports and i really don't believe they have the knowledge or power to make even a decent stadium anywhere.

if the team gets sold to someone who is actually competent, then i do believe something drastic could happen. as it stands now, i really don't believe it. this is "new news" to most folks, but as a huge fan, i've been hearing this nonsense about them moving out of the coliseum for several decades now. even if vegas is a slightly viable site, i still really don't see them going there without someone competent headlining the move.
