Blood Drive completely spat on the already wrapped up story of the first game. They ~~laid Sachiko to rest~~, we didn't need another game set in Heavenly Host. Dead Patient (for all it's many faults) was a better follow-up. Set up a new plot, in a new location, with new and returning characters. And it wasn't (assumed anyway) attached to the Heavenly Host incident outside of those returning characters. Blood Drive was objectively a bad game. I've tried, on multiple occasions, to finish Blood Drive and I just can't. I hope that this one doesn't somehow tie into Heavenly Host in some way outside of maybe a reference.
