The Marvel's Avengers game that was de-listed is exponentially better than this piece of garbage

Season 1 released and you they introduced a new character-- Joker, but they don't just give him to you... Unlocking the new character is literally the endgame of the season LMAO. You have to grind 35 ranks re-playing the same shitty missions to even unlock the mission where you "save the Joker"

All that just to fight a "new" Brainiac but it's just a re-hash of the Green Lantern boss fight

They really should have given you Joker right off the bat or made it like one early mission to get him... Because he's actually fun to jump around with... But grinding those missions or paying to get him early sucks...

The only way well see a successful SS game is if Gunn does a much better job with the team in his DCEU movies.

Basically everyone except the WB execs could see the flop coming as soon as it was announced, and it only got more obvious as more about the game was shown.

The Suicide Squad was a fantastic movie and the characters in the game are based off that cast, or for the most part it looks like. Unless the directors have anything tangible to do with the games, Gunn isn't going to make any difference.

If they wanted to make this game in this style, just get the people who did Bulletstorm to reskin it and make it a DC game.

Rocksteady games don't work for the style they wanted to do here, with big shootem up games where you shoot the same glowing node 100x to make it explode and do minor damage.

How anyone thought this would be a good idea is beyond me. As a huge fan of the Arkham games, all of them, this is just so fucking worthless. Why not make this game in the style of the Arkham series, like they teased in Origin.

Hes definitely going to make a difference for the new DC universe, though, which will draw more attention to the games that come out afterwards.

Yes, but WB hasnt exclusively made shit games. They gave us Arkham City, Mortal Kombat 11, Injustice 1 and 2, Witcher 3, and more.

Yeah, I get that, however maybe this is the start of the nosedive that leads to them eventually stopping because they can no longer comprehend serving their audience without trying to milk them for all their money like dairy cows.

I figured Id heard the end of the Suicide Squad complaints. But then they had to go and give you ingrates new content so of course this is the worst thing ever.

There is only one short new story scene, a reused boss fight, and endless grinding...its really nothing to give praise for.

Its New game plus but we get the Joker this time. But again somehow them giving you new stuff translates to this making it worse.

That does nothing to refute my point.

It seems to have been sent out to die and they knew it. Once the first gameplay trailer came out everyone shat on it and they changed the release to "work to improve it" for a little while but not nearly enough time to fix what was wrong with it. It came out like two months ago and already everyone's like hey remember suicide squad?

It's barely new content... Sure you get Joker but every mission is the same as base game, the boss is just the Green Lantern boss with extra mobs around, and some stuff has some new textures that don't add anything to gameplay...

I have a big feeling the moment this game "underperformed" the WB execs basically want to cut their losses and will most likely cut the lifeline quickly for this game. Marvel Avengers had serious issues, but at least they had the courtesy of giving the characters free right away with some story missions and cutscenes. And what's funny is that even my friend says this game still has day 1 server problems. It's night and day to see how this game fares against a superior live service game like hell divers 2.

So they have a world where only Joker is left and Brainiac decides to copy Green Lantern instead of Batman... It doesn't thematically fit.

Wonder if we will get a Brainiac mimicking the Batman/Superman fights after this considering the Flash and Green Lantern have already been copycatted. Of course with 11 Brainiacs left to go, wonder what will happen when there isn't anything left to copy.
