You quit supposedly because no one shoots on film anymore (which is false, toss a stone in LA and you'll hit a low to mid budget movie set shooting on film) but you want to work in commercial/corporate video? Lmaooo

huh? i quit because i couldn't find work during the strikes and was generally unhappy with living in la. gave it 3 years and was pretty over it. just wanted to go back to new york. now i get the good tasting tap water and my daily steps are way up. also get some overcast chilly weather. hell yeah.

I still need to see Red Rocket and admittedly hadn't heard of Afire. Curious now. I gave the rest of those 4 or 4.5 on Letterboxd. Except Licorice Pizza. 3.5. Weakest PTA IMO.

afire is a great "literally me" movie. its on criterion channel. it had several nominations in the movie server awards btw. you were in that topic. smh not reading the nominees.

def want to see the coen's reunite. drive away dolls was amusing fluff and, well, tragedy of macbeth is horrific. kind of mindblowing seeing them work apart and how bad it goes compared to when they're together. civil war looks really bad. not sure about monkey man. looks like watered down wick. will wait for non-sxsw reviews.

This summer Im looking forward to Horizon: An American Saga. Chapter 1 in June and Chapter 2 in August I believe.

As previously Im a Western junkie and I have to mostly live in the past for both tv and movies in the genre. Its rare for me to get a release in the modern era in the genre but it happens occasionally.

And its been a long time since Ive had a multi-part epic so Im looking forward to it.

I just want to say I watched The Banshees of Inisherin just randomly because I highly enjoy Brendan Gleeson and usually enjoy Colin Farrell especially in sort of off the beaten path movies like The Lobster and some of the other stuff he had been in.

I thought the movie would have some nice scenery and was intrigued by the premise. I highly enjoyed this film. Never hardly see anyone else ever mention it. So its nice to see.
Ever see In Bruges? You should get on that if not. Same director and leads.

I actually havent but will have to try and catch it somehow. I looked it up and it sounds good and I definitely like the actors. Thanks!
