Seven House Republicans have filed a bill on Friday to rename Washington, DC's main airport, Dulles International, after Donald Trump. The bill would rename the airport Donald J. Trump International Airport.

The bill's sponsor is Rep. Guy Reschenthaler from Pennsylvania. Co-sponsors are Reps. Michael Waltz, Andy Ogles, Chuck Fleischmann, Paul Gosar, Barry Moore and Troy Nehles.

"In my lifetime, our nation has never been greater than under the leadership of Donald J. Trump. As millions of domestic and international travelers fly through the airport, there is no better symbol of freedom, prosperity, and strength than hearing, 'Welcome to Trump International Airport' as they land on American soil."

Gosar also told Fox, "I can see no more fitting recognition than naming both airports in our nation's capital after America's two best presidents: DCA after President Reagan and Dulles after President Trump."

They did with Washington International Airport being renamed Ronald Reagan Washington International Airport in 1998. Reagan died in 2004.
Also, the junior high school I went to (John T. Baker in Damascus, Maryland) was named for him when it opened in 1971, and he attended the naming ceremony.

I lived in the DC area for 15 years and had to endure constantly flying into an airport named after one of the worst Presidents in history. Might as well just complete the ridiculousness performative bullshit by naming the other one after the worst president this country has every seen. At least Gosar and company won't be doing further damage while their faces are firmly affixed to Trump's boots-and other areas.

The ironic thing is that Ronald Reagan was absolutely horrible, but he would be a RINO in today's carnival funhouse GOP.
