The reality is that you are completely willing to turn a blind eye to Biden supporting an ongoing genocide, and support him despite it.

Am I? Well shit. What else do I believe? This may be easy not having to think and just have someone else tell me.

Trumble posted...
You're not willing to put any pressure on him to stop supporting it.

Again, am I?

Trumble posted...
You just want people to ignore the fact that he supports it and vote for him anyway.

Do I? I'm finding out a lot about myself today!

So you agree Biden is a fascist?

If you think being complicit in genocide is the only singular reason that makes someone a fascist, then under your specific parameters, sure.

But if you choose to include, you know, the rest of the stuff. Unchecked power balance. Authoritarianism. Carte Blanche paramilitaristic police force. Persecution of political allies. General suffering of their constituents, then, no. He isn't.

You know that too, but are allergic to good faith posting.

I like how you confirmed my comment about being stuck in the Trump-bad-loop.

I respectfully ask you to take the next step in logic.

Assuming preventing a Trump win is the at the utmost importance:
* Is Biden's handling of the Gaza conflict actually helping that goal?
* Is the approach you, and so many other supporters ITT have, actually helping that goal?

The threats of a Trump presidency are completely hollow if what you're defending is not doing anything to prevent it.
I'm voting for the person who isn't Trump. That is how I'm preventing a Trump presidency. Biden doesn't have to do anything for me because Trump is a bigger threat and he is why I'm voting Biden. You could replace Biden with literally anyone or anything that isn't as bad as Trump, and I will vote them in for that reason. I am not voting because I support Biden or like Biden

Simple and straightforward answer: Biden can change his stance on Israel, use the massive leverage the US has over them and condition future arms sales and aid on Israel adhering to international human rights.

From what I know, he's basically Trump-lite? Would be better than Trump, probably (educated guess as I don't know him well enough) worse than Biden.

I don't need to know every single American politician or have a specific preferred one in order to notice that nothing actually prevents Americans going a third route other than their own refusal to do so. I know that the two they're pretending are the only options are both awful; one significantly more so, but both of them to the point they should be nowhere near the presidency of a country that affects virtually the entire world politically and economically.

My chances are slim. Atheists historically rarely win office. I've also expressed interest in platforms like replacing the roles of police, and LGBT rights (such as expanding access to transgender and mixed-gender sports).

On the downside, past inconsistent remarks on abortion are a liability (the left's reservations are more sensible, than the right who already hates my views across the board anyway)

Assuming you're not a billionaire lobbyist, the only sort of leverage anyone has is their vote.

Threatening to withhold your vote will work if enough people do it. If appealing to his conscience by protests isn't working, then electoral pressure will.

I don't think that Biden believes unconditional support for Israel is worth handing the keys over to Trump.

Like, explain why the fuck I need to know a specific third party candidate in order to recognize that it's not a good idea to vote for a candidate who supports fucking genocide.
