"Right wing intellectual" has been a complete contradiction in terms ever since WF Buckley died.

Before Buckley joined his Master in Hell, "Right wing intellectual" was almost entirely a contradiction in terms, since Buckley's "thinking" wasn't all that.

What is (and always has been) really meant by "right wing intellectual" is above-average ability to tell the lies that are essential for right wing arguments.
